What's happening:
MacOS customers running Catalina MacOS 10.15.4+ will receive the following message:
Legacy System Extension
Existing software on your system loaded a system extension signed by "Sophos", which will be incompatible with a future version of macOS.
This is related to changes that took place in macOS 11 (Big Sur), in which kernel extensions are longer used. More information here: About legacy system extensions.
NOTE: Sophos Home 10.0.1 which supports macOS 11 is now available: See: Support for macOS 11- Big Sur which uses the supported System Extensions.
What to do:
No action required other than clicking OK - Current protection is not impacted in any way, and this notification from Apple is just informational.
