What is Sophos Intercept X For Mobile?
Sophos Intercept X For Mobile helps protect your mobile device with device, network, and application security. The free, un‑managed app is available for iOS and Android.
Note: Chrome OS protection is available only in managed business environments and isn’t supported by Sophos Home Support
There are two editions:

Un‑managed (Free): for individuals on iOS/Android devices.
- Anyone can download and use the free, un‑managed Intercept X For Mobile app on iOS and Android. Sophos Home Premium (paid) customers are eligible for support from Sophos Home Support for issues with their un‑managed mobile devices and the free app.
- Managed (Business): requires a license and management via Sophos Central/Sophos Mobile. See Intercept X for Mobile product page. Managed editions are not supported by Sophos Home.
What devices are supported?
For individual/un-managed use, Intercept X For Mobile is available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play, supporting iOS and Android devices.
Sophos Home Premium (paid) customers can contact Sophos Home support to receive assistance for their unmanaged installations of Intercept X For Mobile.
Key Features
Available features will vary per OS, as well as per subscription type.
The Managed version (for companies) contains additional features that are not available on the Free version (individuals / Sophos Home Premium users). If you are a business customer, please visit this site instead.

How do I install Sophos Intercept X For Mobile on my device?
- From the Sophos Home Dashboard on your phone: Use Add device on your mobile browser to jump to the appropriate store; then install the app on your device.

Direct install: Open the store on your device and search for Sophos Intercept X For Mobile.
Apple Store, Google Store
Visibility in Sophos Home Dashboard: Mobile devices protected with Intercept X for Mobile don’t appear in the Sophos Home dashboard. Manage them directly on the device.
Will my mobile devices show up on my Sophos Home Dashboard?
No. As the tool is separate from Sophos Home, these devices will not show up in your Sophos Home dashboard. They will be managed via the protected mobile device instead. Sophos Home Premium customers can contact support if they need assistance with their devices.
