This article provides information on the soft/permanent retirement of Sophos Home Windows on systems running older Windows versions.
Soft retirement Windows list
Soft retirement means that there will be no software updates for PCs running Windows versions older than Windows 10 64-bit, but they will still get virus definition updates.
End of support for Windows 7, 8, 8.1
Sophos Home support for Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 ends on October 31, 2022. Sophos Home endpoints running these versions of Windows will no longer receive new features, bug fixes, protection updates and customer support.
Permanent retirement will take place in October 2023, at which point these OSs will be moved to the bottom section and won't receive any kind of Support or updates.

Sophos Home support for Windows 10 32-bit ends on October 31, 2022. Sophos Home endpoints running this version of Windows will no longer receive new features, bug fixes, protection updates and customer support.
