This article covers how to reinstall Sophos Home after reloading your operating system, or for troubleshooting purposes (i.e if you accidentally migrated the antivirus to a new device instead of installing it using the official guidelines).

How to re-install Sophos Home

Pre-requisites

• Supported Operating System is installed and updated
• After the initial activation, you do not need a license key to reinstall Sophos Home. 
• Remove any 3rd party Antivirus software
• Disable Firewalls, VPN software and/or network restrictions during the installation process (you may turn them back on when done)
• Delete any previously downloaded SophosInstaller files from the Downloads folder.

Re-installation steps

1. Remove Sophos Home and restart your device :
   
   • Uninstalling Sophos Home on Windows computers
   • Uninstalling Sophos Home on Mac computers
2. Sign in to https://my.sophos.com
3. Click Add Device
4. Click Install 
   
5. Download the Sophos Home installer and run it to complete the process.
