You can uninstall Sophos Home on your Mac computers using the Remove Sophos Home app.
Do not drag Sophos Home to the Trash as this will not uninstall the program.
Removal Instructions
Step-by-step guide

Open Spotlight (command+space ) , type remove sophos home and press Enter.

Click on Continue on the uninstallation window then follow the on-screen prompts.

Enter your Mac's password then click on Install Helper.

Wait for the uninstallation to finish then click Close.
- Restart your Mac to complete the removal process.

"Remove Sophos Endpoint" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software

macOS versions prior to 15.1 need to right-click to open the app (sometimes need to do this two times)

macOS 15+ will need to follow instructions after getting that message, per Apple's requirements

Choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

Go to Security, then click Open.

Click Open Anyway.

This button is available for about an hour after you try to open the app.

Enter your login password, then click OK.

Optional Steps-Remove Sophos system extensions
Although not necessary to complete the uninstallation process, users can choose to remove Sophos Home System extensions from their computers after uninstalling the product. See the following steps:
- Disable system integrity protection
Note for the video below: Ifyou are using a Mac with Apple Silicon, you will need to continue to hold the power button down while starting the computer until the options window appears to access recovery mode.

- Restart once more to ensure all components are properly unloaded
- After the reboot open up the terminal (it’s in the utilities folder of your applications) and type in each of the following commands (without quotes), pressing enter after each one:
"sudo systemextensionsctl uninstall 2H5GFH3774 com.sophos.endpoint.scanextension"
"sudo systemextensionsctl uninstall 2H5GFH3774 com.sophos.endpoint.networkextension" -
