This article explains how to reinstall Sophos Home after reinstalling your operating system, or if you need to remove and reinstall it for troubleshooting

How to re-install Sophos Home

Pre-requisites

• Supported Operating System is installed and updated
• 3rd party Antivirus software must be removed prior to installing Sophos Home.
• 3rd party Firewalls, VPN software and network restrictions are disabled (you may turn them back on when done).
• If present, older SophosInstaller files are deleted from the Downloads folder.

Re-installation steps

1. Remove Sophos Home and restart your device :
   
   • Uninstalling Sophos Home on Windows computers
   • Uninstalling Sophos Home on Mac computers
     
2. Sign in to https://my.sophos.com
3. Click Add Device
4. Click Install 
   
5. Download the Sophos Home installer and run it to complete the process.
